A great photograph doesn’t always come from a great pose. Often, it comes from how you guide the model, the situation you create, the words you use and how you help the body release tension and begin to move.
My own journey began with movement and dance and I now bring that experience into photography.
Model Guidance combines body awareness, movement and somatic practices with photography to make model direction more natural, conscious and creative.
LEVEL 1 E-BOOK is a practical introduction to my MODEL GUIDANCE method.
Practical exercises for working with models, drawn from my Model Guidance workshops.
This book isn’t about learning dozens of new poses. It teaches you to understand what happens before a pose emerges and how to guide that process more consciously.
If you often find yourself wondering during a photoshoot, “What should I tell the model to do next?” This book is a place to START HERE
MOdel guidance, level 1
Your model doesn’t need more poses. They need better direction.
You can show someone a hundred poses and still miss the most important part: knowing how to guide them. Learn to communicate with your model, build a connection and explore how approaches from acting can transform the way you direct people in front of the camera.
This is the foundation of Model Guidance - a practical starting point for photographers who want to do more than tell people how to pose.
